Miley Cyrus seemed to have had an eventful yet sentimental Fourth of July weekend judging by her Instagram photos.

Us Magazine reported that on Saturday, July 5, Cyrus and a few of her pals decided to have a tattoo party and post details of the eventful night on Instagram.

During the tattoo party, Cyrus took the time out to get a tattoo of something near and dear to her heart: her dog Floyd. Her friends also reportedly got the same Floyd tattoo.

As most Miley Cyrus fans probably know, her dog Floyd passed away earlier this year following a brutal attack from a coyote, The Daily Mail reportedCyrus was very distraught upon hearing the news that her dog had died and took to Twitter to express her sorrow.

Fast-forward to now, Cyrus has decided to immortalize her dog with a tattoo placed on her ribcage featuring a replica drawing of the dog along with a wrap around speech bubble that reads, "With a little help from my friends."

At the time of her dog's death, she tweeted, "I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real. ... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken."

Cyrus then shared several pictures of herself with the dog to her Twitter followers and continued, "I know I don't mean it, but I wish he would've taken me with him. This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable."

Cyrus also mourned Floyd's death during her Bangerz tour performances and was offered nothing but love and support from her fans.

In addition to there being plenty of ink at Miley's tattoo bash, the Daily Mail reported that there was lots of marijuana present as well. But that's not too surprising as Cyrus has been a strong advocate for marijuana in the past. During her 02 Areana stage concert, Cyrus took the time to speak to her fans about the benefits of smoking pot.

"You know what, weed has never killed anybody. You guys know that right? So instead of smoking a cigarette, why not just roll a fat joint?" she yelled to the crowd.
