Miley Cyrus MTV VMAs 2013 Twerking Performance Video: Robin Thicke Bummed by Singer's On-Stage Antics
It seems that married men don't enjoy being twerked and gyrated on by women other than their wives. Well, at least not Robin Thicke who was reportedly "bummed" by Miley Cyrus' twerking performance during Blurred Lines, says Perez Hilton.
"Robin thought it would be fun to include Miley, but he didn't realize how much she would overshadow him. This was his big night and big performance. I don't think he would have done it knowing what it ended up like. He's also super bummed that he didn't win, especially Video of the Year," a source spilled on Perez Hilton.
However, according to MSN WonderWall, Robin only had three words to say about Miley's raunchy performance. "That was dope," said the father of one.
In contrast, Robin's mother, 66-year old Gloria Loring, did not fancy Miley's performance nor does she think it was cool. The veteran actress and singer even called Miley "misbegotten."
In an interview with Yahoo OMG! Insider, Loring had this to say about the latex bikini-clad 20-year-old:
"I just keep thinking of her mother and father watching this. Oh, Lord, have mercy...I was not expecting her to be putting her butt that close to my son. The problem is now I can never 'unsee' it. I don't understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do. I just don't understand. I think she's misbegotten in this attempt of hers. And I think it was not beneficial."
Loring also mentioned that she loved Robin's performance and adored the black and white suit.
As for Robin's wife Paula Patton, she was reportedly "cool" with Miley's performance. According to TMZ, Paula "couldn't be any cooler" with Miley dry humping and neck-kissing her husband although there were rumored reports of her going "ballistic" after the performance.
The report further said that the lewd performance was somewhat expected - as there were quite a number of rehearsals done beforehand.
