Singer John Legend has released a profound video for this latest single, "You & I (Nobody in the World)", which supports a fundraising campaign called #OperationalGirl Charity Challenge -- a movement for the empowerment of women.

The video, which is now available for viewing on Legend's YouTube page, features several unique women gazing in the mirror as they get dressed. It opens with the singer's wife Chrissy Teigen who is followed by other women and young girls who evidently come from different backgrounds and have to deal with their own different physical issues.

Legend appears for a split-second then the video focuses on the women who battle insecurities and other disabilities such as obesity, cancer, and even sexual identity issues, as shown by Laverne Cox -- a transgender actress from "Orange Is the New Black."

Legend, in his statement, spoke of the egregious injustices against women that occur regularly and how everyone has a responsibility to take action by not allowing these tragedies to take place and to disrupt the current social conditions. He hopes to strengthen the impact of campaigns such as #OperationGirl by concerned organizations who continue to work on behalf of women.

The singer's "All of Me" is on its 25th week in the Top 40 singles chart at number 11. On the other hand, his latest album "Love in The Future" is at the 33rd spot.

#OperationGirl is an online fundraising campaign challenge that will award teams who raise the most funds during the Challenge. The beauty of it is that even if the teams do not win the biggest prizes in the campaign, they will still get to keep the money they raised. John Legend has teamed up with Burkle Global Impact, RYOT, and CrowdRise for this new initiative.

"You & I (Nobody in the World)" is available on his latest album "Love in the Future."
