Drake vs. Blake Skit Video Featuring Chris Brown: Stars Poke Fun at Infamous Brawl in Hilarious Skit [Watch]
They certainly put their on-and-off relationships with Rihanna behind -- Chris Brown teamed up with his (former) love rival Drake and Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin for a hilarious skit at this year's ESPYS on Wednesday night, July 16.
The pre-taped skit titled "Drake vs. Blake" starts out as the Toronto emcee and the NBA player are seen battling out over whether their segment should be called "Drake and Blake" or "Blake and Drake."
Drizzy somehow ends up nervously lying on an operating table, where "Dr." Griffin appears to be performing an appendectomy on the rapper, and the one-time enemies poke fun at their infamous bottle-throwing nightclub brawl back in 2012.
"Oh my god, you're the surgeon?" the "Started from the Bottom" hitmaker asks Griffin, horrified. "Oh, I'm not the surgeon, he is," the basketball player immediately responds, pointing at Brown.
The "Loyal" singer menacingly pops up holding surgical tools and yells, "YOLO, motherf*cka!" while Griffin whispers to Drake, "Breezy... 'Blake and Drake.'"
Both R&B star and rapper also took to their Instagram accounts to post a photo capturing the trio's comedic skit. "BREEZY! and Cheeto Face," Drake wrote the following caption.
After the musical duo showcased their quite obvious newfound reconciliation in the funny video, Blake Griffin appeared live on stage as a new host at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Brown then jumped out from behind Griffin, introducing himself as "America's Sweetheart," while the OVO Sound founder was shown tied up backstage as a hostage.
An insider revealed to Us Weekly that Chris Brown and Drake got along great during the rehearsals ahead of the 2014 ESPYS, "They were actually really friendly with each other," adding that it "didn't seem like there was any tension at all."
