The speculations of One Direction's Zayn Malik secretly tying the knot with fiancee Perrie Edwards, of Little Mix, quickly spread across the Internet, as he made his Instagram account public for the first time.

The "Midnight Memories" hit-maker shared a topless black-and-white selfie in which he appears to be wearing a wedding band on his ring finger via his Instagram account Tuesday. "Blah," he captioned it. He was immediately trending worldwide on Twitter with the hashtag #THANKSZAYNFORMAKINGYOURIGPUBLIC.

In another image, unseen from February, the 1D member's left hand appears to have a wedding ring, which has been revealed as his engagement ring. It confused numerous fans, possibly suggesting he had had a private ceremony with the fellow British pop star months ago. "Rings :) x," he captioned the picture.

Moreover, Edwards fueled the marriage rumors after Instagramming a snapshot of herself performing at Hyde Park over the weekend, rocking a silver ring on her ring finger.

Malik's representative addressed the 21-year-old's marital status to MailOnline: "Perrie and Zayn are not married. The picture shows his engagement ring."

The musician couple have been together since 2011 and got engaged in August. The Little Mix singer recently said she is ready to get married.

"We're young, but I think when you know, you know," she said. "We've been together for a while now, so it is nice."

Perrie Edwards had also discussed her future wedding plan with Zayn Malik with The Mirror.

"I definitely want long sleeves. I know exactly what I want, so I'm designing it and getting it made from scratch," she said of her envisioned perfect wedding dress. "Not that I can draw ... I'm getting Jade to do it. She's going to draw it and I'm going to take it to somebody to make."
