While the cast is still filming the fifth season of 'Glee,' Naya Rivera has revealed that Demi Lovato will be playing Santana's love interest during her six-episode arc. At the VMAs, Rivera told MTV News that she and Lovato will be singing a duet together during the one of the first two Beatles-themed episodes of Season 5.

"I mean, she's playing my love interest, so I'm very, very excited about that," Rivera told MTV News. "We get to sing a song together. It's gonna be good. I'm excited to work with her. We're bringing her to the dark side."

Aside from interacting with Rivera, the singer-actress and "X Factor" judge will also share scenes with Lea Michele and have several musical numbers with Adam Lambert. The "American Idol" alum will reportedly play Kurt's (Chris Colfer) nemesis.

Rivera said that the cast is currently shooting three episodes simultaneously and that the first two episodes of Season 5 will include the "best Beatles songs."

The 26-year-old singer also revealed details on the Cory Monteith tribute episode, which will be the third episode of the season. Monteith, who played Finn Hudson, died in July at the age of 31.

"We've been shooting it," Rivera said. "It's horrible. So many, so many [memories]. He was an amazing guy and I'm definitely going to miss him."

After the tribute episode, "Glee" will go on hiatus until baseball finishes postseason. Aside from Lovato, "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert will be joining the cast for Season 5, which premieres Sept. 26.

Rivera also gave MTV News the details on her single "Sorry," off of her unreleased debut album.

"Yeah, you know, I teased a little bit of the cover art last week and it drops on iTunes next week," she said. "It's a personal thing and I'm really looking forward to people getting to see Naya outside of Santana on 'Glee.'"

Rivera teamed up with her boyfriend Big Sean for the song, in which she calls out some of the rapper's exes. This prompted some backlash on Twitter, but Rivera didn't seem to mind.

"I only saw good things from my fans," she said of the tune. "They seem to really like it."
