Paula Patton and Robin Thicke Divorce News: Couple Ends Marriage; LA House is Now for Sale
Nearly a month after naming his latest album "Paula" after estranged wife, as his final attempt to win her back, Robin Thicke is now giving up and putting their Los Angeles home up for sale.
The "Blurred Lines" hitmaker and the "Mission: Impossible" star, who have been together since their teenage years and have a four-year-old son, Julian, announced that they were calling it quits in February. Ever since their split, Thicke has desperately been trying to reunite with Patton, dedicating songs to her at concerts and even going as far as to name his recently released seventh studio LP after her.
"The album is what happens when you lose the love of your life and you try to figure out in your head like, 'How am I gonna move on?'" he explained to New York's hip-hop and R&B radio station Hot 97. "Because we weren't together anymore, I had so much that I still wanted to apologize for and take responsibility for, and that's what the album is about."
However, the "Get Her Back" singer's alleged efforts have been for nothing, as the former sweethearts reportedly put their Hollywood Hills estate on the market for $2.985 million. Listed by Sotheby's International Realty via Variety, the 3,158 square foot mansion, which is located above the city's gorgeous Sunset Strip, has three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, with one of the bedrooms set up as a music studio. The property also comes with a swimming pool, two fireplaces and canyon views.
The two-story residence was originally built back in 1965 and bought in early 1990 by Robin's father, Alan Thicke, for $910,000. In 2005, the "Growing Pains" actor gave the deed to his son, the same year the "Lost Without U" singer wed the "Idlewild" actress.
