Besides criticizing her ex-boyfriend on Twitter, Belinda has also been in the news because of tax evasion.

While at the Mexico City airport, the singer addressed those rumors, according to La Opinion.

"I haven't had a single problem," she said. "Everything is fine. Millions of things are published, but I have no problem. I'm very happy, working as always, thankfully traveling and very happy."

Publications previously said the singer was in hot water because of her taxes, and that she could face up to three years in jail.

In the impromptu airport interview, Belinda also spoke about ex-boyfriend Giovani dos Santos.

"He's a good friend and I always wish him the best," she added.

After she criticized dos Santos on Twitter, the soccer player expressed disappointment in the singer's actions. She ended up deleting the initial Tweet, and dos Santos even tried to end the conversation on a positive note.

He then made the mistake of saying that he saw that she still missed him. Other users immediately starting using the hashtag that he used, and they also told dos Santos that he was mistaken if he thought Belinda missed him.

Belinda was very amused by the phrase, and was spotted wearing and selling a shirt with the hashtag.

"It's selling incredibly!" Belinda said.

Although the shirts have made the use of dos Santos' hashtag more prevalent, it doesn't seem like there are real issues between the two. Either way, the singer is trying to continue to focus on her work.

She told reporters that she would remain with television station San Angel and that she was working on collaborations with artists.

"I'm very happy," she said. "I'm going to film a music video in the United States, and I'm very excited."
