Katy Perry Talks Illuminati: 'Dark Horse' Singer Calls Conspiracy Theorists 'Weird People on the Internet'
During an interview with Rolling Stone senior writer Brian Hiatt, Katy Perry revealed that though she is not part of the Illuminati, she "would like to be invited" into the infamous conspiracy cult.
The Illuminati, according to many conspiracy theorists, is a sort of cult consisting of high-powered celebrities, public figures and politicians that are all in control of how the world is run. Though the Illuminati is not confirmed to actually exist, many believe it to be true and celebrities such as Kanye West, Beyonce, Madonna, Jay Z and now Katy Perry have all been linked to the group, reports The Independent.

Rolling Stone reports that many websites, including Infowars, began reporting on Perry's connection to the cult. Infowars headlined their article as, "ILLUMINATI PRIESTESS CONDUCTS WITCHCRAFT CEREMONY IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE WORLD."
Perry admits that the idea of an Illumanti sounds "crazy," but the 29 year-old pop star still wants to be invited into the mysterious club.
"Listen, if the Illuminati exist, I would like to be invited! I see all that sh*t, and I'm like, 'Come on, let me in! I want to be in the club!' I have no idea what it is. It sounds crazy," Perry told Rolling Stone.
She continued her Illuminati rant by poking fun at conspiracy theorists on the Internet, who continue to say that she is a part of the group.
"Weird people on the Internet that have nothing to do find, like, strange triangles in your hand motions," she said. "I guess you've kind of made it when they think you're in the Illuminati, but listen, I believe in aliens, so if people want to believe in Illuminati, great."
Katy Perry's full Rolling Stone cover story is now on newsstands.
