"Mad Men" actor Vincent Kartheiser married "Gilmore Girls" actress Alexis Bledel. Her representatives confirmed to People Magazine that the couple exchanged vows in June at a ceremony in California.

This is each actor's first marriage. The couple met while Bledel guest-starred on Kartheiser's show "Mad Men" in 2012.

Their two on-screen characters had a romantic affair, their off-screen chemistry blossomed and the couple announced they were a couple in October 2012 at a red carpet event in New York City.

Five months later in March 2013, Kartheiser, 35, proposed to Bledel, 32. "Mad Men" co-star Jessica Paré said Kartheiser told his cast mates a "purely comedic" rendition of his prepared proposal.

"We were like, 'Great!'" Paré said. "'Let's do this one without cursing and without yelling.'"

"They are such a yin and yang," another co-star, Elizabeth Moss, said to People in March. "I've known [Vincent] for 12 years and Alexis is just the sweetest. I've never seen Vincent like this. It is really cool."

The pair have kept their romance relatively quiet, but in an interview with Vulture magazine in April, Kartheiser discussed his time spent working with his future wife on set.

"We were completely professional," Kartheiser said. "We never saw each other out. We never-it was nothing, it was just work."

Previously, Kartheiser was linked to his "The Hairy Bird" co-star Rachel Leigh Cook in 1998. Bledel also dated a co-star; she was romantically involved with Milo Ventimiglia, who she worked with on the "Gilmore Girls."

Bledel is also well-known for her role in the book-to-film series "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and "Post-Grad." Kartheiser also had a role in the 2011 filme "In Time" starring Justin Timberlake and voiced a character in the animated film "Rango."
