As the film "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" nears its release, the cast and filmmakers are still keeping busy gearing up for the premiere.

Director Robert Rodriguez has been juggling several projects. He is launching a new television network El Rey as well as directing the "Sin City" sequel.

Actress Eva Green recently became the subject of scandal when her image was deemed too sexual in a teaser poster.

"I mean...the poster, you don't see anything!" Green said to E! News. The poster showed Green's character Ava Lord in a sheer white robe holding a pistol.

The Motion Picture Association of America decided the image showed too much, causing Dimension Films to re-release the poster after some retouching. ABC refused to show the "Sin City" trailer because Green "appear[ed] to be naked."

"Just wait for the movie then. It's in 3-D as well. Enjoy yourself, you know!" Green said. "It was nothing on the poster, it was lots of noise for nothing."

The movie also features actress Alexa Vega, who formerly starred in "Spy Kids." A poster focusing on Vega raised some eyebrows of those who haven't seen her since her child star days.

The buzz online surrounding these images and the film at large is also driving these scandals.

@ScreenRant tweeted an article they wrote, saying "Eva Green is a Goddess," while @Studio_Den75 said the film looks like "a big fist of awesome."

Producers also recently released a 9-minute video of extended behind-the-scenes footage shot while filming "A Dame to Kill For."

The movie has a jam-packed cast list, featuring performances from Mickey Rourke, Josh Brolin, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Lady Gaga. "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" premieres in theaters Aug. 22.
