'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' Preorder, Price, and Gameplay: Kevin Spacey Stars in New Trailer
A new trailer for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is out and you'll see more than just explosions and gunfire, you'll see some of Kevin Spacey's acting.
In the beginning of the trailer, a quote from Abraham Lincoln is displayed on the screen: "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."
From there, the aftermath of a global terrorist attack is shown. The government and militaries are crippled, so it's time for a private military speciality group called Atlas to spring into action.
Next, Kevin Spacey's character Johnathan Irons is shown arguing with a commander about gaining congressional approval to go in and help.
"Atlas is an internationally registered private company, we don't need congress," Irons replies.
After some intense fight sequences are shown, Irons says: "Power determines who's right. And I have the power, so I am right!"
It's cool to see Spacey's character in some of these cut scenes. It's clear that he'll be heavily involved in the game since he is the game's antagonist.
Special Editions
There will be three special edition releases of the game too. These can be purchased through Activision's website; they will be Atlas Pro, Atlas Limited, and Atlas Digital Pro. All three of these versions come with special digital content and even merchandise from the Atlas Corporation.
The most expensive version of these special editions is priced at $119.99. That is the Atlas Pro edition. The Atlas Digital Pro Edition will run you $99.99 while the Atlas Limited Edition costs $79.99.
Countdown to the Multiplayer Reveal
The exclusive reveal to the multiplayer version of the game we told you about earlier is now being featured on the landing page of the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" website as a countdown clock. The official reveal will take place on Aug. 11 exclusively on Xbox Live.
