Rita Ora is on the cover of Glamour UK, where she talked about how difficult her breakup has been.

She and Calvin Harris split up earlier in the year, and the singer explained that it hasn't been easy.

"It's hard to have a relationship in this business," she said. "We both work really hard, we're both all over the place. It was a wake-up call. I'm gonna tell you the truth... I'm not doing too great. But I'm doing better than I thought."

Although she has been linked to other men, Ora says she wants to be single, especially because she's not ready.

"I adore him and he's an amazing human being," she said. "It was more about the situation, it was convenient, it was s**t, it sucks. I think I'm gonna have a minute to myself."

Ora also explained that at 23, she has great friends to rely on.

It was announced that Ora would be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards this year.

She even shared her excitement on Instagram.

"This was us last year at the VMA's," she said, in the picture that also features Iggy Azalea. "Now we're performing black widow! So excited!!"

Beyoncé, who she also recently posted about, will also be performing at the VMAs. The singer will be receiving the Vanguard Award, which has been received by Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Madonna and Michael Jackson.

Ora was quite busy on her Instagram, as she also posted the picture of the Glamour cover on Wednesday.

"So I'm too excited to be my 2nd Glamour cover on shelves next week," she said. "When you see it on the shelves pick it up and put the magazine in the strangest places in the SHOP! And Instagram it! Tag me so I can see too! I love mischief let's be naughty!"
