Jerry Jones Racy Photos Update 2014: Cowboys Owner Opens Up About Controversy
Pictures of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones accompanied by what appeared to be strippers surfaced on the Internet last week. Now, he's claiming the photos misrepresented him.
The photos were from a party about five years ago that apparently contained a lot of alcohol and possibly some strippers.
"Someone has misrepresented photos taken at a restaurant five years ago for their own purposes and so I'm just not going to comment," Jones told ESPN.
The women in the photos were contacted by TMZ Sports and said they are strippers in Texas. They say they don't remember too much about the party because "there was a lot of alcohol involved."
Last week, someone tweeted the pictures of Jones and the two women, claiming he had been holding onto them to protect Jones from an extortion plot.
The two women said they have no involvement on the extortion plot.
But, Deadspin was contacted by a woman claiming to be the blonde in the photo. In the photo, Jones has his hands near the woman's breasts.
The woman that contacted Deadspin said she had some juicy information and there was more to those photos than just a party with lots of alcohol.
Jones said he has been under the weather lately and that could be why he hasn't responded much to the photos.
The photos were first posted online by a man named Frank Hoover. He also posted a 20-page rant that explains the plot against Jerry Jones.
It is a bizarre story, but it is not the first time that Jones has been involved in controversy. The Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s were notorius for wild parties and drug usage.
Jones took over as the owner of the Cowboys in 1989, buying the team for $140 million. Jones helped draft players that would lead to three Super Bowl victories in the 90s.
What do you think about this story? Are these women just trying to get money out of Jones? Or is this all a hoax? Leave us a comment in the comments section below.
