'American Idol' Contestant Josh Gracin Hinted at Suicide With Troubling Facebook Note
Season 2 "American Idol" contestant Josh Gracin wrote what appeared to be a suicide note on Facebook.
Cops arrived at his Spring Hill, Tennessee, home after loved ones reported that he had written a troubling note hinting at suicide, according to TMZ.
The message seemed to talk about marital problems.
"I've loved her for 17 years..." it started off. "I made mistakes ... I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her the most... I love you all.. You have given me the greatest gift. You allowed me to touch your hearts with what I loved to do the most... Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music... Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye."
When police arrived at his home, they didn't find him. But after getting in touch with him, they persuaded him to go back home.
Gracin is now under psychiatric evaluation. TMZ reported that 33-year-old singer drove himself and was escorted by police.
One of the first updates on Gracin came from his manager, Amy. She posted a message onto his Twitter account at 7:54 p.m. on Aug. 14.
This is Josh's manager, Amy. Thank you everyone for your prayers & concern. Josh is safe & with his family now. I promise to update soon.
