The cast of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" continues to grow as on Sunday, Matt Bomer was confirmed as a Season 4 guest star.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Murphy, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" creator, revealed the addition of Bomer during the magazine's Emmy Party. He will appear in one episode.

This will not be Bomer's first time working with Murphy. He played Felix Turner in Murphy's HBO movie "The Normal Heart," which earned him an Emmy nomination this year in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a TV Miniseries or Movie, TVLine reports. In addition, Bomer has also appeared on Fox's "Glee," another creation of Murphy's, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Murphy told EW that it was "amazing" to work with Bomer again.

"I try to get him to do everything for me," he said. "I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.' It's very ... warped."

Bomer's character on "American Horror Story: Freak Show" has not yet been revealed.

In order for Bomer to appear on Season 4 of the FX thriller, the show had to work around his filming schedule for "Magic Mike 2."

Unfortunately for Murphy, he was not able to work something out with the schedule of Leslie Jordan ("The Help," "Sordid Lives"), who had to film "Celebrity Big Brother" rather than appear on "American Horror Story: Freak Show." According to Jordan, Murphy wrote him a note expressing his understanding of the situation, Digital Spy reported.

"I am a huge fan of yours Leslie, I understand the timing was off on this one, but I will always write you into future projects," the note said.

"When I read that note, I almost sh*t and fell back in it," Jordan said of Murphy's message.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" premieres on FX on Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It takes place in 1950s Jupiter, Florida. Lange stars as a German woman managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S.
