50 Cent Admits Floyd Mayweather Can Read, Expresses Love for Boxing Great
Last week, 50 cent attempted to publicly humiliate Floyd Mayweather by posting a series of Instagram videos and memes claiming that the undefeated boxer cannot read.
"Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750K to a charity of your choice, if you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or F**king up lmao," 50 cent captioned one of his many Instagram videos and memes dissing Mayweather.
Power 105.1 radio host Charlamagne tha God later supported 50 cent's claims by posting an audio clip of the boxer struggling to read a radio script.
Though Mayweather has neither denied nor confirmed 50's accusations, 50 Cent confirmed on Angie Martinez's radio show that Floyd Mayweather can in fact read.
"Champ can read. He can read," 50 told Martinez.
50 then went on to explain that his Instagram memes and videos were simply jokes that he decided to post online after Floyd Mayweather seemingly dissed 50 and alluded to him being a "washed up" rapper during a prior interview.
"I don't want to hurt him, but he do things that agitates me. He do things to aggravate me a little bit. I look at him like my little brother too, but he'll pick at you like, 'You ain't bigger than me'."

50 cent also opened up about his Floyd Mayweather Instagram tirade with XXL magazine. Contrary to what he posts online, 50 cent revealed that he "loves" Floyd Mayweather.
"We have one of those love/hate relationships. I don't hate him, I love him, actually. Entering the sport of boxing is a reflection of that relationship. He doesn't make any money away from the sport of boxing. That tells you when he's done fighting, he's done period. I just try to encourage him to do things away from the sport... "
Despite his declaration of love for the undefeated boxer, 50 cent continues to make fun of Floyd Mayweather on Instagram, All Hip Hop reports. Check out some of 50's Instagram posts below.
