MTV 'Teen Mom' News, Updates & Talk 2014: Farrah Abraham Slams Network for Firing Her From Show
Reality-TV star turned adult film actress Farrah Abraham is slamming MTV for firing her off of the "Teen Mom" reality show that first catapulted her to stardom.
"I don't think it will be as great without me," Abraham told Life & Style about the show's upcoming reunion season. "I personally won't be watching."
During the time of the news about Abraham's "Teen Mom" termination, rumors surfaced that the other original "Teen Mom" cast members were not fond of Abraham and wanted her off of the show.
However, Abraham tells Life & Style that those rumors are false.
"No one ever said they wished I would not be back," she revealed. Abraham also added that she and Catelynn mended their issues at the "Teen Mom Couples Therapy" reunion.
Despite her claims that she and the other cast members are cordial, Abraham threw a few subtle jabs at the original "Teen Mom" stars for still needing "Teen Mom" as a source of income.
"Some of the moms on the show still need that. Fortunately for me, I have other ways of making money. I can't keep doing the same things year after year," she said.
Since "Teen Mom," Abraham has gone on to appear in adult films and has even written a book.
Her latest endeavor involves stripping at Palazio Gentleman Club in Austin, Texas.
"I'm doing research," Abraham explained to E! News about her latest job. "A friend of mine works there and I'm researching. I've been trying out all the roles that make up a gentleman's club, including cocktailing and dancing. There's management and there's cooking too. It's job shadowing that I hope pays off."
Abraham went on to compare herself to Jennifer Aniston who also frequented strip clubs to prepare for her role in the film "We are the Millers."
"In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that's what I'm doing," she said. "It's how I get the information to write my books and do my movies. Unfortunately, I'm not free to talk about what those future projects may be. But I'm interested in hearing all the women's stories. And while I'm doing it, I'm getting paid. I'm getting paid to play a role and get informed."
