In an attempt to impress a female fan, Calum Hood from the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer has managed to impress the Internet. The teenage musician and teen idol should know better than to send images of himself via social media.

According to TMZ, Hood, 18, sent a video Snapchat to an adoring fan. The video showed the band’s bassist’s torso as he lowered his underwear to reveal his erect manhood. Though Hood was smart enough not to show his face on the video, he did not foresee a crazed fan recording the Snapchat and uploading it as a Vine.

Hood simply captioned his Snapchat with a “;)” emoticon but his fan, as soon as she saw uploaded the Vine, captioned it: “CALUMS DICK IM SCREAMING #calumhood #5sos #calumsdick2k14 #calumsnude”

Though no one could prove Calum was indeed the guy revealing his throbbing manhood to a girl, the Aussie singer, instead of denying it like countless celebrities before him, confirmed it to the world in a nonchalant manner via Twitter.

He followed this cheeky Tweet with a slightly more serious one.

According to Yahoo Celebrity UK, Hood’s band mates found Hood’s indiscretion funny and uploaded their own responses to Twitter. Michael Clifford Tweeted the photo of naked obese man eating a slice of pizza with the caption: “OMG FOUND @Luke5SOS NUDES!!!” He was referring to fellow band member Luke Hemming.

However, the group’s fan base has not taken kindly to the release of the photos so they have begun using #WeLoveYouCalum on Twitter to show their undying devotion.
