Miley Cyrus New Music Video “Wrecking Ball”: Singer Goes Fully Naked
The former Disney star bids goodbye to twerking and latex bikinis as she bares it all in her new music video.
"Wrecking Ball", Miley Cyrus' second single for her album Bangerz, has finally made its video debut. Fans were a bit surprised with Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" video but even more with the new release.
The video now has close to 13 million views on YouTube. And though the comments section is a mixture of hateful and appreciative tones, there are still considerably more likes than dislikes in the ratings section.
The official "Wrecking Ball" music video runs for 3 minutes and 42 seconds. It features a scantily clad Miley Cyrus licking a hammer of some sort. She wore white undies with a cut-off white tank top paired with shoes.
What caused the hype though is a fully naked Miley Cyrus straddling a metal ball with only her shoes on. Aside from the shoes, the short 'do and her red lips, everything else was in fact bare.
"Wrecking Ball" was released shortly before the singer's controversial twerking at the VMAS with Robin Thicke. The audio version of the song gained positive remarks from fans and haters alike on Cyru's Vevo channel.
According to a source, the video was directed by Terry Richardson. Richardson is reportedly known for his provocative celebrity shoots.
Aside from some tongue and bare naked straddling action, the video also featured several close-ups of the singer, crying.
Cyrus has also been in the news lately with the Vogue issue. The New York Daily News reports that the singer was initially chosen for the magazine's winter cover. However, Vogue Editor Anna Wintour reportedly changed her mind after the singer's VMA performance.
Extra TV's sources say otherwise and claim that a photo shoot never happened. The singer was also reportedly not scheduled to appear on the magazine.
