'Frozen' Movie Online News, Cast, Let It Go & Soundtrack: ABC Special 'The Story of Frozen' Airs Tuesday
An ABC special airing Tuesday night will give viewers and fans a peek behind the scenes of Disney's blockbuster hit "Frozen."
Josh Gad, the voice of the much-loved snowman Olaf, will host the special show, which features interviews with his co-stars Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, John Lasseter and the film's team, according to ABC 7.
Viewers will also get to peek into the Walt Disney Animation Studios see many of the aspects that helped inspire and create "Frozen."
Disney first teased the special show in mid-August and said the show will include the research behind the film, which involved trips to Norwegian villages and Quebec to help animators create the fictional world of Arendelle.
Executive producer John Lasseter, directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, producer Peter Del Vecho, and songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez will also be on the show.
The show will also include the ABC spinoff of "Frozen" in the show "Once Upon a Time."
"Once Upon a Time" announced the "Frozen" episode and has included some cast and crew from the movie to play roles, but it made headlines when they show announced it would not include Olaf.
But "Frozen," which has been touted as Disney's most successful animation yet -- and whose popularity has yet to wane almost a year later -- will share the stage during the hour-long special with Disney's promotion of its new animation cartoon which will release in November.
"Big Hero 6" will be discussed, along with interviews with the directors -- Don Hall and Chris Williams.
The upcoming film was described by Disney as an "action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius -- thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred."
