Apple Event Today - Time, Live Blog, Program Schedule & Launch Details
We're just minutes away from Apple's big announcement and ceremony at the company's offices in California, scheduled for 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. We expect to see a pair of new iPhones, a new iPad, and the release date for the new accompanying software update, iOS7.
Although Apple has remained quiet about whether it will feature a live video feed during the much-anticipated event in California today, there are a number of ways to follow along.
Apple has had a live feed at some points in the past, which would be on the company's website if they do it again. From the way it looks right now, Apple will at least feature the details of the iOS7 update as the company's website currently has a link set up for fans to watch the live video when it airs. It should probably be assumed that the iPhone update would be featured on this link as well, but if that doesn't happen or if you can't watch the video, there are other ways to follow along as well. CNET offers a live blog of the event.
The Huffington Post says that Usteam may have unofficial live streams where fans can try to get a glimpse of the exciting coverage. Secondly, fans will still be able to find live coverage in the form of live blogs from around the tech blogosphere. Follow along on your favorite tech blogs and you should be sure to find live blogs.
Thirdly, keep in mind that Twitter is a great place to check for updates throughout the event as well. Use iPhone and Apple-related hashtags to find the most relevant and recent tweets from Apple and others who are at the event and have the most updated information.
