'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Premiere, Cast News and Spoilers: Will Jax Kill Juice in Final Season?
While fans are anxiously waiting for the upcoming final season premiere of FX's "Sons of Anarchy," creator Kurt Sutter teases Juice's inescapable death.
"The body count is intense because Jax is in full vengeance mode," Sutter recently told E! News. "As a result of that, the gloves are off and those risks are being taken that perhaps may not have been taken in previous seasons, because the stakes are so high."
In the season 6 finale, Juice betrayed the SAMCRO President by helping Jax's own mother Gemma escape the bloody murder scene after she killed her daughter-in-law Tara. As a result, fans expect Charlie Hunnam's character to go after Theo Rossi's role.
The "SOA" showrunner previously confirmed that a couple of the 10 remaining outlaw motorcycle club members - Jax, Bobby, Chibs, Tig, Rat, Happy, Montez, Quinn, West and Juice - will face death. "Two club members will be dead," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I don't think there'll be more than that."
Sutter also admitted to EW: "It would be difficult if I got rid of characters like Tig and Juice and Chibs, especially with Opie gone. They feel like family to people. You have to be very careful not to be arbitrary in terms of who lives and who dies."
Moreover, Juice will have a frightening "revelation about himself" in episode 6 of the new season, according to TVLine. "It's somewhat sad, but it explains his journey and why he is doing what he is doing," said Kurt Sutter. "He's sort of on this path that begins with him having some glimmer of hope, and then when that doesn't come to fruition, he's just completely untethered and lost."
However, at least Juice won't be alone in the middle of impending bloody drama, as the SAMCRO matriarch will protect him. "She's very loyal to that," Katey Sagal told E! "She has selfish motivations - she wants him to be quiet - but she's going to make sure he's OK."
Episode 1 "Black Widower" of "Sons of Anarchy" is set to air on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
