On Tuesday, Justin Bieber was greeted with an overwhelming amount of boos from the Fashion Rocks audience while appearing onstage with model Lara Stone to present Rita Ora's performance, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

The Daily Beast reports that, despite the audience's booing and hollering aimed at the 20-year-old singer, Bieber continued on with his presenter sketch and quickly -- and awkwardly -- stripped down to his underwear in attempt to conjure up some cheers from the booing crowd.

However, despite his attempts at trying to win over the crowd, Bieber was still booed by the audience in his Calvin Klein underwear.

"If you're going to do a show called Fashion Rocks, you've got to hear 'Fashion' by David Bowie," he continued on with sketch. "And to see great fashion. Now for one of England's newest sensations."

Stone chimed in to reveal the performer, "Rita Ora."

Although there's no denying the boos coming from the Fashion Rocks crowd, Bieber seemed unbothered by the audience's backlash.

Following his sketch, Bieber took to Twitter, Vine and Instagram to flaunt his toned physique.

He continued:

Bieber continued to boast on Instagram.

"Just stripped on national television hahahahaha it wasn't planned lmao," he captioned his almost naked photo.

Although Bieber's Instagram post was met with mostly positive comments from fans praising the singer's body, a few critics slammed Bieber for his attempt to 'wow' the crowd.

"UM YEAH STRIPPED BECAUSE YOUR LAAMME A** WAS GETTING BOOED!!! NOBODY LIKES YOUR LAME A** ANYMORE LIL BOY...GIVE IT UP," Instagram user @jwool_ wrote.

Justin Bieber has yet to comment on the negative responses to his striptease.
