iPhone 5s Price at $199, $299, $399 for 16, 32 and 64GB Versions, Unlocked for $649 to $849
Apple fans will have more options than ever when it comes to how much they are willing to spend on an iPhone.
According to Apple's website, the iPhone 5c starts at the very bottom with a 16GB phone priced at $99 and a 32GB phone costing $199. The iPhone 5c is available in five different colors and AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon currently support these prices.
The iPhone 5s, on the other hand, will be reserved for the Apple fans on a higher budget. Instead of different "colors," the 5s is available in different "finishes," which seems to be a way for Apple to boost the perceived value of the phone. These so-called finishes include shades of gray, silver, and gold.
The iPhone 5s isn't just going to cost more, but will actually have more. The phone, which starts at $199 for the 16GB phone, will have improved specifications and a faster operating system. The fingerprint sensor also provides additional security.
There are two additional options for the 5s -- the 32GB costs $299 while the 64GB is $399. AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon also support these prices.
AT&T, however, does have a (much more expensive) option for Apple fans that are desperate for an iPhone 5s or 5c. AT&T will give fans the chance to have an unlocked and contract-free 16GB iPhone 5c for $549 and 32GB for $649, while the 5s will start at $649 for the 16GB phone, $749 for the 32GB phone, and finally a whopping $849 for the 64GB phone.
According to Apple.com, "If you buy iPhone for T-Mobile, it will arrive with a nano-SIM card already installed that you can activate by visiting an Apple Retail Store or a T-Mobile store or by calling T-Mobile."
