We're less than a month away from the premiere of Season 5 of "The Vampire Diaries," which promises to be filled with new plots, twists, hookups and heartache.

However, as fans anxiously wait for the start of the new season, TVD has released a hilarious collage of their funniest bloopers from Season 5.

In the video, the stars of TVD are seen dropping cuss words and making funny faces and noises as they stumble over their lines.

One blooper was apparently filmed back when Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev shared both an on-screen and offscreen romance. In the clip, Dobrev's character Elena gives Somberhalder's Damon a passionate kiss. Somberhalder then looks back at the camera and blurts out, "You guys can mess up all day, I'm cool with it." In response, Dobrev shakes her head no in disapproval.

According to TV Guide, Caroline will finally confess to Stefan that she has feelings for him early on in Season 6. However, Elena will overhear her confession.

When asked back in May how Elena would feel about her friend hooking up with her ex-boyfriend, actress Nina Dobrev told TV Guide that Elena would find that situation "awkward," but she would still be "understanding," nonetheless.

"TVD" executive producer Caroline Dries also dropped a couple of spoilers about Caroline and Stefan, telling TVLine that their romance will be a major storyline next season. However, she added that there's no guarantee that Stefan will feel the same way as Caroline.

"She's going to realize it's a little more one-sided than she was hoping, and there's going to be some fallout from that," Dries said. "But just because one character doesn't like another character, that doesn't mean it's not a fascinating love story."

Season 6 of "The Vampire Diaries" will return to The CW on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. EST.
