Floyd Mayweather Did Not Leave Tip on $25,000 Bill After Win Against Marcos Maidana, Says Waitress
Floyd Mayweather reportedly declined to leave anything as a tip to a waitress who served his entourage $25,300 worth of food and booze at Rehab at the Hard Rock on Sunday afternoon.
Nik Nguyen told TMZ that she thought she hit the jackpot when Mayweather's group walked into the Rehab, knowing that the boxing champion recently earned a $32 million paycheck during his rematch with Marcos Maidana on Saturday night.
According to the report, Mayweather, who was accompanied by around 150 people, ordered five bottles of Patrone, three Grey Goose, six bottles of Ciroc, 20 battles of Luc Belaire Rose champagne, 200 chicken wings, a 6-liter bottle of Luc Belaire Rose and one fruit platter.
Nguyen said that she served Mayweather's group well and actually went the extra mile to please the boxing superstar. But to her surprise, Mayweather did not leave even a single cent as tip. The waitress added that she was disappointed with Mayweather because she saw them throwing money to random girls on the stage.
Meanwhile, several fighters are already calling out Mayweather, who remained unbeaten in 47 fights after scoring an impressive win against Maidana in their rematch.
Amir Khan, who was considered a favorite to land a fight against Mayweather earlier this year, reaffirmed his desire to go up against the reigning pound-for-pound king.
Khan, who defeated Luis Collazo in May, is being linked to Manny Pacquiao and Kell Brook, but the 27-year-old Briton insisted that a fight against Mayweather is his top priority.
"We're looking at the big, big names. You can't really put the names together, Floyd Mayweather and Kell Brook. We're talking about the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather. Kell Brook is a fight that will happen, but I really want the Mayweather fight. I don't want to miss the boat," Khan said via BoxingScene.
Aside from Khan, reigning World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia also wants a shot against Mayweather, while Victor Ortiz is eyeing a rematch with the Grand Rapids, Michigan native.
