The release of "Addicted" is right around the corner, and for fans there will be a special event the day before the release.

"Addicted: Live With Zane" will take place on Oct. 9, where there will be a question and answer session with Zane, the author of "Addicted," William Levy, Sharon Leal, Boris Kodjoe, Tasha Smith, Tyson Beckford and director Bille Woodruff, according to a Fathom Events press release.

The event will be broadcast from New York's AMC Magic Johnson Theater at 8 p.m. ET. Though the event will be on a tape delay, fans will be able to interact with the actors through Twitter. The Q&A will be available in 340 select movie theaters. Estelle will also be present to sing her song, "Conqueror," which is in the film.

"'Addicted' is a film people will be talking about for a long time," said John Rubey, Fathom Events CEO. "Offering our large and loyal audience the chance to have an advance look and participate with the author, cast and filmmakers is an experience they won't soon forget."

Quincy Newell, the EVP and general manager of Codeblack Films, adds that the event will bring "an extra dimension" for the audience.

Levy recently opened up to Venue Magazine about his role in the film. The Cuban actor said that he plays a painter who is a bit dark.

"But he's a character whose way of being makes him addicted to certain things," he said. "Maybe because he's disappointed inside. He hides his feelings ever since he was a child, because of what his mother did to him."

His mother abandoned the family, and his father, who can't take it, commits suicide. Therefore, the painter grows up on his own.

Tickets for the event are available on www.fathomevents.com where the participating theaters can also be seen.
