'Bones' Season 10 Spoilers: Booth Suffers From PTSD After Being Incarcerated
In the build up to the premiere of Season 10 of "Bones" this Thursday, the stars of the popular crime-comedy series unloaded new spoilers about what fans can expect.
During last season's finale, Booth and Brennan's home was destroyed in a hail of gunfire and Booth was sentenced to serve time in prison after he was framed in the murder of three FBI agents.
When Season 10 begins, it will pick up four months from where the finale left off and Brennan and the Jeffersonian Team will desperately fight to clear his name and set him free.
According to "Bones" star Emily Deschanel, Booth will suffer from PTSD once he is finally released from prison.
"Being in prison brings up a lot of stuff for Booth," Deschanel said, TV Fanatic reports.
As a result, viewers will see how the trauma that Booth experiences behind bars affects his character, his relationship with Brennan and his two children in the new season.
"It will obviously bring them closer together," actor David Boreanaz said, adding, "I think that throughout these seasons we've always maintained the relationship."
Deschanel also dropped hints about the new FBI agent, James Aubry, revealing that he was originally sent to spy on Booth.
Fans can also look forward to the 200th episode of the long running series this season, which Deschanel teased will be "very different" and something that fans are not use to seeing.
"It's going to be fun. I think it's going be great opportunity to enjoy the 200th episode, but on top of it kind of give something back to the fans," Boreanaz said.
In addition, Zap2it revealed that "Shawshank Redemption" actor Gil Bellows will guest star in an upcoming episode as Mason Curtiz, a smooth, powerful, confident and wealthy broker who manages a giant firm on Wall Street. However, after the head of his high frequency trading fund is murdered, he'll undergo questioning by Booth.
Season 10 Premiere of Bones, "The Conspiracy in the Corpse," will air on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
