Kris and Bruce Jenner Relationship: KUWTK Star Officially Files for Divorce From Husband
On Monday, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" matriarch Kris Jenner filed for divorce from her husband of 23 years, Bruce Jenner, E! News reports.
According to E! News, Bruce responded to Kris' divorce papers with his own divorce filing almost identical to Kris' filing.
The pair stated, "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for their divorce, claims a TMZ report. Because there was no-prenup during the marriage, Kris and Bruce have allegedly agreed to a property split and will have joint custody of their 17-year-old daughter, Kylie Jenner.
Prior to the marital split, Kris and Bruce had been legally separated for 11 months and stopped sharing earnings during that time, TMZ reports.
Despite the end of their marriage, Kris and Bruce remain cordial and continue an amicable relationship, reports E! News.
"We will always have much love and respect for each other," the estranged couple told E! News during their separation. "Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
Though Bruce no longer lives with Kris in Calabasas -- he now lives in Malibu -- he continues to appear on the family's hit reality television show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
Bruce was even filmed vacationing with Kris and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan on their family vacation to Thailand last season on the show.
Neither Kris nor Bruce have commented on their recent divorce filings.
Kris is currently focused on her daughter Kendall who has become the "IT" girl for this year's Paris Fashion Week.
"Well hello Paris I missed you!!! #PFW #blessed," Kris captioned her Instagram photo of the Eiffel Tower on Monday.
Kris has also been posting Instagram photos of Kendall Jenner walking the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
However, Kris and Bruce's daughter, Kylie Jenner, of whom they have joint custody, doesn't seem to be doing as well since the announcement of her parent's split.
According to RadarOnline, Kylie posted a cryptic Instagram message seemingly addressing her parents' divorce.
"I discovered that our disconnect was never because of the insecurities we felt, but rather the emptiness we created when we failed to make sense of ourselves," Kylie wrote on Instagram using a quote from Miami-based writer R. M. Drake.
