On Monday, Sept. 22, rapper French Montana seemingly dissed his now ex girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian via Instagram, the Hollywood Life reports.

"Happy hoes ain't hating, and hating hoes ain't happy #newsmash #comingsoon @myfabolouslife," Montana captioned the photo of himself with his friends and fellow New York rapper, Fabolous.

Though Montana's photo with Fabolous appears to be in line with the many Instagram photos he posts of himself partying with friends, the Hollywood Life suggests that the "hoe" that Montana refers to in his caption may be directed to his ex, Khloe Kardashian.

"In the photo, you can see French smoking with his buddies, appearing to be without a care in the world. Kind of a strange caption to put on a photo of yourself with your friends unless you're just trying to show that everything in your life is going just fine without your ex!," the Hollywood Life's Amanda Mitchell writes.

Khloe Kardashian and French Montana were first reported to have split up earlier this month.

RadarOnline reported on the couple's breakup and cited Montana's obsessive behavior towards Khloe as the rumored reason for the split.

However, later in the month, MediaTakeOut refuted those claims and cited Montana's sexting to Khloe's bf Malika Happ as the alleged real reason for the couple's breakup.

"Khloe broke into French's phone and saw him sending all kinds of inappropriate texts to her girl," said the MediaTakeOut insider. "That's why they broke up."

Soon after the Montana "sexting" rumors emerged, Malika took to Instagram and posted a cryptic message that seemed to address the allegations.

"We cannot change our past ... We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude," she wrote.

Though the real reason behind Khloe and Montana's split remains unclear, a MediaTakeOut source claims that Khloe and Malika will continue their close friendship no matter what.

"Khloe has been down with Malika since forever. They have the kind of friendship that even if Malika was f***ing Khloe's man, they'd still be friends. Besides, I don't think Khloe was into [French Montana] like that," said the source.
