On "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," Ana may be battling between brothers Fernando and Diego, but that won't be a problem anymore.

Actor Pablo Montero, who portrays Diego, was fired from the show by producer Juan Osorio when he didn't show up to work. Osorio tried to find him and even called Montero's wife, who said she had no idea where he was.

But Osorio has made it very clear that he's serious about his work, so instead of dealing with Montero, he found a replacement.

Valentino Lanús will become the new love interest on the show, notes Diario Basta.

His appearance can come as soon as three or four weeks, though that date would be later for American audiences.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is how he will fit into the show, or how Montero's character will say goodbye.

Earlier this month, Montero denied that he would be replaced from the telenovela. He said that he hadn't been told as much and that he was happy because his character was beloved. But other reports said that even though Montero explained that he had a personal problem, Osorio had already made up his mind to replace him.

In early September, Montero's grandmother died, and it was work that kept him from being able to say goodbye to her, notes Novelas y Series.

Osorio commented in August that Laura Bozzo and Ana Obregon would be joining the show.

"We already filmed with Laura Bozzo," he said. "People are going to laugh a lot."

He didn't offer any other details about their roles.

Osorio has set out to create a telenovela that is both funny and serious. He supposedly put some of the cast on the diet, so they could promote a healthy lifestyle.
