The world may have witnessed Big Sean and Ariana Grande hold hands at the MTV VMAs, but it doesn't seem like either is ready to address the relationship.

In a Sept. 26 interview with Ryan Seacrest, the rapper did open up about the singer, but he didn't reveal too much. He explained that he doesn't like to talk about his personal life.

"I am going to tell you this: Ariana's very, very special," he said. "She's very special to me. Everything she has going on is good with her. Everything I have going on is good with me. Everything between me and her is good, and I'm just going to leave it at that."

During the interview, Big Sean also explained how a radio station gave him a start in his career, which was something that Ryan Seacrest could relate to.

The rapper also revealed that he has come up with lyrics to songs in his dreams. He basically had the entire lyrics to "Guap" written after waking up on his tour bus.

He also named himself his favorite rapper because he's out to be the best. But he acknowledges that he has a long way to go to make it happen.

Though he did show love for Kanye West, whose label he's signed to.

"Honestly, when I heard 'College Dropout,' the last song on 'College Dropout' changed my life," he said. "That was the first time I think I got like emotional listening to a song."

He added that the song made him feel as though he could also make it as a rapper.

Big Sean was also the topic of conversation during Seacrest's interview with Grande, and it was a much more telling interview.

"I mean, I guess [we're dating]," she said. "Curiosity man, it'll kill you. I don't know what to say, Ryan."
