A new Macbook Pro Retina Display 2013 is rumored to emerge by October 15, along with OS X Mavericks, reports GottaBeMobile.

Apple did not mention anything about the Mac line-up in their keynote address last September 13 at Cupertino, California. This has left users and would-be buyers of the new Macs hanging. However, the long awaited upgrade to the laptop will seemingly make a comeback by October, together with the fifth generation iPad and the iPad Mini 2.

As reported earlier, rumor mills have already been betting for an October release for the Macbook Pro Retina Display; however, this is the first time an exact date has been revealed for its release. The October 15 date was revealed by MacGeneration, a French website, which claims that Apple will be holding a special event on that day.

The new Macbook Pro Retina Display 2013 has yet to receive a Haswell processor upgrade which is already a done deal with the new Macbook Air. The Haswell processor upgrade has boosted Air's battery life by up to 14 hours.

According to the Christian Post, the new Macbook Pro Retina Display 2013 could very well be a hybrid between the Pro and a Retina Display. It also expects Apple to remove the optical drive from the current Pro along with the upgrade. Noatbly, the same step has been taken with the iMac upgrade last year.

GottaBeMobile is also eyeing the new Macbook Pro to have the Thunderbolt 2. The upgraded laptop will allegedly have better integrated graphics and may even be subjected to slight redesigning.

Zeam Tech is betting on a slimmer design for the 13-inch Macbook Pro Retina Display laptop. The upgraded version will also sport Haswell processors with updated Intel graphics, an improved battery life and an 802.11 ac WiFi, while keeping the same RAM and SSD.
