'America's Got Talent' Results 2013: Recaps and Tonight's Finals
"America's Got Talent" is getting intense with the finals taking casualties. Last week, six acts had their dreams of winning $1 million taken away as the eliminations left only six acts remaining.
The first set of eliminations pitted Chicago Boyz and Kenichi Ebina against each other. Since the Chicago Boyz made some dancing mistakes during their rlast performance, they were eliminated, and Kenichi Ebina advanced to this week's round.
Next, it was was between Bradley and Innovative Force. Cami Bradley emerged the winner, and Innovative Force was sent home.
For the third set of eliminations, Taylor Williamson and the Kristef Brothers were under consideration .According to Howard Stern, it was "not right" that one of the two acts had to go home. Still, it had to be done. Kristef Brothers were a very strong and popular act, but the Taylor Williamson outshined them and advanced to the next round.
Next, Forte advanced to the next round leaving behind Branden James.
After Forte advanced, it was time to announce who viewers would see next week: Jimmy Rose or D'Angelo & Amanda. Unfortunately, D'Angelo's & Amanda's journey ended that night.
Finally, it was time to announce whether Catapult Entertainment or Collins Key would remain in the competition. Catapult Entertainment was sent home.
That means this week's episode of "America's Got Talent" has six acts left: Kenichi Ebina, Cami Bradley, Taylor Williamson, Forte, Jimmy Rose and Collins Key. Interestingly enough, no more acts comprised of groups remain.
Tonight, the six remaining finalists will continue to perform at Radio City Music Hall. Each act will prepare two acts. In one act, the finalists will be improving on one of their previous performances. During their second act, the finalists will perform a brand new routine.
Jimmy Rose will be the first to perform, and he will sing the song he sang during his audition. Kenichi Ebina will revisit his audition performance. Cami Bradley will re-perform "Believe" by Cher which she first performed in the quarter finals. Collins Key will improve on his first audition. Forte will work on their Las Vegas performance. Taylor Williamson, who is struggling on how to make a comedy act funnier, will try his best reworking the performance that got him into the top-12.
There will also be some guest performers. Josh Groban, Icona Pop, The Rockettes, Luke Bryan and Il Divo featuring Heather Headley will perform.
"America's Got Talent" airs tonight at 9 p.m. eastern time on NBC.
