Former 'Two and a Half Men' Actor Charlie Sheen Reportedly Pulled Knife on Dentist
Actor Charlie Sheen is reportedly embroiled in a police investigation after allegedly pulling a knife on a dentist in Los Angeles.
Officials tell TMZ that Sheen walked into a Los Angeles dental office for an abscess and walked out in total dismay. A dental technician got Sheen set up by putting a nitrous oxide mask over his face as he sat in the patient chair. All was going smoothly until Charlie allegedly began swinging his arms, striking the dental technician.
The technician exited the room in panic as Sheen's security guard rushed in to find out what was going on.
The technician said that things only got worse when Charlie's personal dentist walked in and ran back out after Charlie pulled a knife out and went after him. No one was hurt during Sheen's rampage, but the incident might be causing Charlie a possible battery and assault charge.
The technician claims that Charlie's own bodyguard told her the actor was high on rock cocaine.
There is now an active LAPD investigation and Sheen could even face a felony assault with a deadly weapon, TMZ notes, for allegedly attacking his dentist with a knife. Cops are looking to interview both Charlie and the dentist before sending the case to the L.A. County D.A.'s office, who will decide whether or not to prosecute the star.
So far, Charlie's lawyer Marty Singer has been the one to respond to allegations regarding the rock cocaine accusations, calling them "completely fabricated." He says, "No bodyguard made the absurd statement to the dentist. Charlie had a bad reaction to the noxious gas put in his mouth and nose."
Charlie Sheen has not made any comments or responded to any media inquiries about the incident.
