Halo Combat Evolved & Master Chief Collection: Release Date & Screenshots Released for Xbox One Version of PC Game Ahead of Halo 5 Guardians Beta
The 343 Industries, a developer under the umbrella of the Microsoft's entertainment division, has released new images for the acclaimed new game Halo: Combat Evolved, GameSpot reports.
Fans of the franchise will remember that the first-person shooter video game was first released in 2001. With a science fiction storyline that deals with military tactics and strategy, the game was a huge hit with video game fans all over the world, even paving the way for comic books to be written based on its storyline.
Said to be one of the best video games of all time, the game's developers have come out with the Xbox One version, which is said to have new varieties of matchmaking, with both radar enabled and disabled.
In addition to these changes, 343 Industries also says that several maps that were seen solely in the computer version of Halo: Combat Evolved will now also be available in the Xbox One version of the game. Fans of this game will also be glad to know that all the game types and even the custom game type options will still be available in the new version's menu for custom games.
Other parts of the PC version, such as the Flamethrower and the Fuel Rod Gun, will also be available in the Xbox One version. The new version will even allow you to get multiple weapon sets. Gamers can also choose from classic options, as well as non-gun options.
The Master Chief Collection is slated to be launched on Nov. 11. This version for the Xbox One will include versions of Halo 1-4 in remastered format. These versions will support multiplayer, which will be good news for fans of the old game. This collection will also give players access to the Halo: Nightfall show, and it will serve as a key to the upcoming beta version of Halo 5: Guardians.
