William Levy is having one of the best years.
His movie, "Addicted," will bring him one of his biggest roles in a Hollywood movie, and he's started getting recognition for his work.
Let's take a stroll down memory lane for the 10 moments that have defined Levy's 10-year career.
1. Isla de la Tentación
In the beginning, William Levy was part of the reality show Isla de la Tentación. Four couples are mixed with good looking men and women on a deserted island. And those who are not in relationships will try to tempt those who are in monogamous relationships. Levy was only 21 years old when he was on the show.
2. "Cuidado con el ángel" In 2008, he starred in "Cuidado con el ángel." The telenovela paired him with Maite Perroni, and she plays a girl who has been placed in an orphanage. She escapes at 14, and makes a living where she can. The novela was a success and William Levy won a few awards for his role, such as the What a Hottie! award at Premios Juventud and Best Couple at the TV Adicto Golden Awards.
3."Triunfo del Amor"
In 2010, he was starring in another telenovela. He was once again paired with Maite Perroni. This telenovela helped solidify Levy as a leading man. He played Maximiliano "Max" Sandoval Guiterrez Montenegro. Though he initially lies to Perroni's character about who he is, the two end up being in love.
4. "I'm Into You"
Levy probably knew he made it when he starred in Jennifer Lopez's video, "I'm Into You." The chemistry was so real between the two that it started romance rumors, but both parties denied it. And his telenovela past is what got him cast in Lopez's video. "My cousins and my aunt were over for Christmas and they were watching this novella religiously and when the time came...to get a guy for the video...I was like 'who's the hot guy?' and they were like 'William Levy'... 'oh my god please [use him]!'" she said.
5. "Dancing With the Stars"
Levy continued to make his mark by joining "Dancing With the Stars" in 2012. Though, he didn't win (he placed third), he did gain fans. "I thank you guys for all you have done for us," Levy said.
6. The Sexiest Man Alive
Levy was named the Sexiest Man Alive in 2012 by People en Español. The handsome Cuban actor was shirtless and wore just jeans on the cover of the issue. His partner Elizabeth Gutierrez spoke about how helpful Levy is at home. "He likes to get into the kitchen and help me," she said. "He loves to make us happy."
7. "La Tempestad"
In 2013, he went back to work on telenovelas. He starred in "La Tempestad" opposite Ximena Navarrete. Levy had long hair, which made the Brad Pitt resemblance even more obvious. This was also Levy's last telenovela before he said that he would be looking to break into Hollywood.
8. 2014 Premios Lo Nuestro
This year's awards show was hosted by William Levy and Ninel Conde. Levy started the show by asking for a moment of peace for Venezuela.
9. "The Single Mom's Club"
Levy was cast in "The Single Mom's Club." The actor said he used life experiences to prepare him for the role. "I grew up with my single mom and never had a dad to look up to," he said. "Fortunately or unfortunately, that taught me some very good things and I learned what my kids need from me."
10. "Addicted"
We're calling it a little bit early, but this is one of the most important moments in Levy's career. He has his biggest Hollywood role, and he's going to be allowed to show both a sweet and scary side.
