Tom Brady denied a rumor that he wants to leave his team, reiterating that he is looking to continue playing and end his career with the New England Patriots.

Recent reports indicated that Brady is growing unhappy in New England and there is a developing tension between him and coach Bill Belichick, but the Patriots starting quarterback said that he can't see himself moving to another team until he retires.

"I love the Patriots," Brady said via ESPN. "I always say it, and I say it time and time again, there is no place I'd rather play, there is no place I'd rather be. I play for the greatest owner and, to me, the greatest coach of all time."

The 37-year-old quarterback said that he is not thinking about the reports about his displeasure over Belichick and their staff's decision-making this season, pointing out that he is focused on helping his team win games and reach their goals this season.

"My family is in Boston. We've been such a part of this community and we love it," Brady said. "I just want to do the best job I can and the best job for my teammates, my coaches, for everybody that supports me. So that's where my focus is and that's where it always will be. So that's how I feel about it."

Brady said, though, that anything can happen in sports as proven by previous unexpected moves -- such as Peyton Manning's transfer from Indianapolis to Denver and Brett Favre leaving Green Bay.

Brady, who has spent his entire NFL career with the Patriots, said that he won't deliberately leave New England, but he also conceded that there are things that are out of his control, especially after the Patriots drafted Jimmy Garappolo, who is reportedly being considered to take Brady's spot.

"My goal is certainly not to do that," Brady said of leaving New England. "But those things aren't always in my control. I would love to be here for as long as possible. Hopefully through the end of my career. And certainly this year is the only one that matters because that's all that we have in front of us."
