Rumors are suggesting that singer, actress and host Christina Milian is dating her new boss, Young Money's Lil Wayne, who signed her to his popular Young Money label.

However, the plot has a twist.

Many claim that the relationship is bogus and that these two have created a publicity stunt to help the "Dip it Low" singer's career revival. But a conversation overheard by a New York Daily News reporter might prove the total opposite.

Christina sat at Hollywood's Café Bustelo with a friend and allegedly went on and on about her relationship with rapper Lil Wayne. What she didn't know was that right next to her table sat a media reporter who was listening to every detail of her conversation.

Milian mentioned that she is more than happy with her new relationship and that Wayne is "like the best friend she has needed and not had in years," according to the New York Daily News.

Although Milian reportedly even mentioned wanting to one day marry the "How to Love" rapper, she said she wasn't looking to rush into an engagement.

Christina has been seen wearing a "Tina & Tunechi necklace." Tunechi is apparently one of Weezy's many aliases.

Onlookers find the relationship a bit cliché as Milian has a daughter with producer and ex-husband The Dream, the same man who fathered another child with one of Wayne's "babymommas," singer Nivea.

The Dream called his ex-wife's relationship with the rapper "Super dynamic."

"I think that's what everybody was thinking when the news broke. Everybody was thinking of that but supposedly Christina," he said in reference to the dating circle.
