Emmys 2013 Winners and Results [Complete List]: Breaking Bad Wins Big!
The 65th Emmy Awards has just wrapped up last night and several TV series were big winners of the night.
Held yesterday, Sept. 22, at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, CA., the show was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. The awards featured big winners as well as tributes to some of the stars that have made U.S. television a hit.
Breaking Bad won the Best Drama Series award for the first time, battling closely with House of Cards - the first online-screened series. Modern Family also took home top honors for Best Comedy Series - its fourth consecutive.
Saturday Night Live broke Emmy records last night as the show with the most awards after director Don Roy King received the Best Directing award for a Variety Series. It has a total of 40 Emmys, beating Frasier, reports Yahoo!
Several tributes were also given in honor of TV stars that have passed away. Jane Lynch honored Glee co-star Cory Monteith who died of overdose at 31. Edie Falco also gave a salute to The Sopranos lead star James Gandolfini who passed away due to heart failure earlier this year.
