In her 20s, Amy Poehler had a bit of a rebellious streak.

The actress wrote about her past in her book "Yes, Please," notes the Mirror.

"I tried cocaine, which I instantly loved but eventually hated," she said. "Cocaine is terrific if you want to hang out with people you don't know very well and play ping-pong all night. It's bad for almost everything died ... The day after cocaine is rough."

She also took ecstasy at a United Citizens Brigade party.

But Poehler explained that she definitely can't deal with what happens the next day after taking drugs, especially as a mother.

"The next day is the thing I can't pull off anymore," she said. "How do you explain to a four and six-year-old that you can't play Rescue Bots because you have to spend all day in bed eating Cape Cod potato chips and watching 'The Bicycle Thief?'"

Poehler still enjoys marijuana once in a while. She says she can't perform or really do anything after taking drugs, so she doesn't use marijuana that often.

The "Parks and Recreation" star also opened up about divorcing Will Arnett, who she was with for 10 years.

"Getting a divorce really sucks," she said. "Imagine spreading everything you care about on a blanket and then tossing the whole thing up in the air. The process of divorce is about loading that blanket, throwing it up, watching it all spin, and worrying what stuff will break when it lands."

But she expresses how happy she is that Arnett is the father of her children and doesn't consider their marriage a failure.

Poehler talked about struggling with postpartum depression when her first son was born in 2008. She didn't take any antidepressants, but thinks she probably should have. She added that the experience taught her what the difference between "depressed" and "DEPRESSED" were.
