'FIFA 15': Gameplay, Player Ratings, and News: PS4 and Xbox One Receive Updates
EA Sports has released an update for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that will allow "FIFA 15" gamers to get much-needed updates and bug fixes.
The update is now available for users to download from their PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles.
Some of the issues said to have been fixed (according to EA Sports) include:
- Fixed 'search-by-name' functionality in Career Mode.
- Added the latency indicator to "FIFA 15" Ultimate Team so fans can view health of connection before entering an online match.
- Improved set-piece cameras in Online Seasons for Guest players.
- Corrected home crowds in Match Day Live matches.
- Fixed occurrences where post-match menus do not appear after a FUT Single Player Season match.
- Fix to hospitality upgrades in Career Mode and Pro Clubs.
- Improved stability when players change their set-piece taker.
- Fixed occurrence where Reserves not brought into Season matches
- Addressed exploit where players could infinitely switch kick-takers on set-pieces
There was also a stuttering issue in the PlayStation 4 edition of "FIFA 15." As of right now, this seems to be fixed. If it still affects gamers, they are advised to send a tweet to @EASPORTSFIFA.
On the EASports Forum:
"We believe we have made progress in our on-going investigation of the stuttering issues currently affecting a small percentage of PS4 users. If you're affected by this issue please you can help us with our investigation by providing details to @EASPORTSFIFA on Twitter."
The reason that updates are important for sports games are the huge amount of physics, motion and glitches that can go wrong in a game. If they continue to update FIFA, they can address these issues and make sure that they don't keep happening.
