Gucci Mane released his new free album, "Diary of a Trap God," a few days after his infamous name-calling Twitter rant, insulting his friends and people he is related to the industry. His recent vitriolic behaviors clearly got him in trouble, incuding a public fistfight and getting arrested by police for cursing them out and possession of a weapon and drugs.

On Sunday, September 22, the Atlanta rapper got back on Twitter: he tweeted his apologies for his erratic behavior and admitted his addiction to lean, a cough surup concoction sometimes called sizzurp, which he has been drinking for "10plus years" and has "destroyed" him. Also, Gucci Mane expresses his feeling of disappointment about his drug addiction, which caused him to "barely remember all the things he's done and said." It seems that he's finally taking responsibility to his out-of-control actions.

In Guwop's series of apologetic tweets, he announces his future plan to get help with his addiction, "I'm currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help," once he is released from jail.

Most importantly, the Brick Squad rapper publicly apologized to whom he has mentioned in his Twitter rampage, which includes Birdman, Rick Ross, and Drake.

He finally ended his words, "wrote sum new hard shit can't wait to get out dis hell hole so y'all can hear dis shit," which sounded more like himself. We all look forward to Gucci Mane's change for the better.

Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I'm so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention. I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I'm SORRY! I've been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit I'm addicted to lean & that shit ain't no joke. I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse. I'm currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help.
