Brad Pitt is fighting Nazis once again, and he's joined by Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña and Logan Lerman.

"Fury," which was released on Oct. 17, tells the story of an American soldiers who make their way through Germany in a tank. It takes place in 1945, and Pitt is Sgt. Don Collier.

Pitt's first scene in the movie has him tackling a German officer, whose eye he stabs. He later orders an execution on a man who killed many children.

The two-hour movie has plenty more violence.

Time described it as "all fighting, nearly all the time."

Lerman, who plays Norman Ellison, has been drafted to Collier's team. This character doesn't like or know how to kill.

In real life, Lerman couldn't wait to take part of the movie.

"It's different from all the other work out there for someone my age," he said.

Lerman said he read the script and immediately knew he wanted to be part of the movie.

When the rest of the characters meet Ellison, they do not seem particularly interested in him. And it's up to Collier, who is nicknamed Wardaddy, to mold him.

The Toronto Sun said that the characters are all "fully formed" human beings, and Brad Pitt gives a "career-defining performance" in the film. Wardaddy is determined to keep his five-man crew alive, even though things get more difficult around them.

The David Ayers-directed movie is supposed to lead the box office this weekend. It is on track to make $25 million, notes The Hollywood Reporter.

For Pitt, he found it difficult to shake off the role.

"We were really embedded in this movie, and I think the biggest challenge was, when a film starts, they're three and a half years into the war," he said. "They've been through Africa, they've been through France, they've been through Belgium and now they're deep into Germany. And to feel that exhaustion and the years of the psychic trauma, I think we got there."
