Dancing With The Stars Update, Week 2 Recap, Results
It was Latin night for the Dancing With The Stars week 2 episode, and compared to the premiere's non elimination round, this time, one couple is set to be eliminated.
If you want to know who is in the lead and who is in trouble, check out the recap of scores by reviewing performances from week 2's routines.
Elizabeth Berkley danced samba with Val Chmerkovskiy with full passion, BuddyTV states. There was precision in her steps and her speed amazed everyone this time around, so much so that Len Goodman even called her Queen Elizabeth. They got a whooping score of 25 along with Christina Milian and partner Mark Ballas for dancing Paso Doble.
Bill Engvall with partner Emma Slater danced the Jive and entertained everyone with their funky footwork. On the other hand, Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke went for some Rumba. The dance was expected to be sensual but with Jack's mom, Sharon Osbourne, always lurking around during rehearsals, it may have affected her son's performance for the night, though the team still managed to get a score of 24 for the night.
Meanwhile, 'Glee' star Amber Riley was a bit apprehensive dancing the Jive according to TV Guide. Her partner Derek Hough was able to remain as spunky throughout the performance. Amber was able to impress the judges once again with her smooth transitions.
'High School Musical' former star Corbin Bleu ranked second on the DWTS Week 2 leaderboard making his performance with Karina Smirnoff like a complete throwback to his Disney days. In fact, the judges thought it was the best performance of the night.
Couples who were in a bit of a trouble included Bill Engvall and Emma along with Keyshawn Johnson and Sharna. But in the end, it was Keyshawn and Sharna who got axed. As for parting words to the show, Johnson expressed his gratitude for the experience of learning how it is to dance with a professional like Sharna.
"I don't really care at this point about whether we win or lose. It's just the fact that I had the opportunity to learn from her... I wish I could have done more to help her out," he said.
