'Grimm' Season 4 Spoilers: 'Dark Forces' Will Haunt Monroe and Rosalee, Adalind's Spell Will Cause Lasting Ramifications [Video]
Fans of NBC's "Grimm" can look forward to another season of action, mystery and monsters when the Season 4 premiere kicks off Friday, Oct. 24.
Season 3 ended with a daunting cliffhanger as Nick lost his Grimm powers, Captain Sean Renard was left in critical condition after being shot by Weston Steward, Monroe and Rosalee's wedding reception came to ruins and Sgt. Wu began to catch on to the paranormal activity in Portland.
Fortunately for fans who have been waiting for months to see what's going to happen next, Season 4 will pick up right where the finale left off.
During an interview with Click 2 Houston, actors Silas Weir Mitchell and Bree Turner opened up about the new season and what viewers can expect.
"It gets really bad for Nick fast, and when it's bad for Nick it gets bad for Nick's friends because Nick is kind of the guy who protects us," said Mitchell, who plays Monroe on the show. "It's bad for the world when you don't have a Grimm looking out."
He went on to tease that "the season begins with a much more internal kind of turmoil."
Mitchell also revealed that Nick will struggle as he adjusts to the loss of his Grimm powers.
"He has to decide if he's going to try to get his powers back or if he is going to take this and kind of step aside for a minute so he can have a 'normal life' with Juliette," said the TV star. "It's like a responsibility, but it's really gotten in the way of some things, too."
Turner also dropped spoilers about Monroe and Rosalee's relationship now that they are married.
"We are married and we are in love," said Turner, "but some very dark forces are coming up for the couple, outside of just domestic issues."
"Now that we've gotten married then the real hell can begin," added Mitchell.
TVLine also dropped hints about what's to come in the new season, revealing that the spell Adalind used to steal Nick's Grimm powers is "going to have long-reaching -- and potentially game-changing -- ramifications in the first half of the season," writes the website.
Season 4 of "Grimm" premieres on NBC on Friday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET.
