Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks Relationship Breakup: 'Talk Dirty' Singer to Write Breakup Song About Ex-Girlfriend
During a recent interview with Billboard, "Talk Dirty" singer, Jason Derulo revealed that he will "100 percent" be writing songs about his recent breakup with longtime girlfriend, Jordin Sparks.
"I'm somebody who cannot keep those two things separate," Derulo said about his personal and professional life. "Like, I have to put it on paper, put it on wax, put it in my songs. I cannot separate the two. My creativity, my personality won't allow me to separate the two. If that's what's going on in my life, that's in the songs I make as well. It's definitely a piece of that."
Derulo and Sparks first announced their split last month. At the time of the breakup, Derulo named the pressure to get married to Sparks as one of the reasons for the couple's shocking split.
"Every relationship has ups and downs. There was a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time," Derulo revealed on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," the Huffington Post reports.
Derulo then revealed on Power 105.1 's "The Breakfast Club" that he would be upset if Sparks moved on quickly from him.

Despite Derulo's candid interviews regarding his breakup, Sparks has been fairly quiet and remains positive amidst the split.
In addition to her positive tweet following the breakup, Sparks sat down with Wendy Williams to admit that she is staying strong and is very happy even though she is no longer with Derulo.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
