Jenni Rivera's family continues to work to honor the her memory.

A new album will be released in December, which will be titled "1 Vida-3 Historias." The album will be full of songs that she sang during one of her last concerts in Culiacan, Mexico.

Rivera's youngest child, Johnny Lopez, said that the newest album was worth the wait. He added that it sounds good.

This December will mark the second anniversary of the singer's death.

And though there are plans to have a park named after her, there are still many things that are unresolved with her death.

Her widower, Esteban Loaiza, is planning to sue for $35 million, but Jenni's daughter, Chiquis Rivera, is against the suit.

"Legally, I know he has a right. And I don't know if it's true, but if it is, it makes me a little bit sad," she said. "My siblings are not only without a mom, they are also without a dad. That belongs to them. I don't care how much they get, but the most important thing won't come back, which is my mom. That money belongs to her children. It seems in bad taste what he is doing."

One of the family's goals is to get the Grammy that Jenni longed for.

The last album by the singer was released on June 30 so that it could be eligible to be nominated for a Grammy. The album became the No. 1 record for regional Mexican music, and the family was surprised at how quickly the album sold.

The family is hoping that her music will be talked about in the future.

"We don't just want her name to be known now," Juan Rivera said. "Our dream is that her name transcends many generation."
