FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Bugs & News Update: Xbox One & 360 Trading Issues Reported after EA Releases PS4, Xbox, PC Patch
Over the weekend, players of EA's FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Edition on Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles began reporting problems with players getting stuck in transfer targets while trading in the EA Sports Football Club and FIFA Ultimate Team Hub Transfer Market web app.
Some PC and PS4 players reported transfer list problems too and are undoubtedly waiting for a bug fix patch to be available for download as well.
EA acknowledged FIFA 15's transfer issues and announced suspension of the EA Sports Football Club and the FUT Web App Transfer Market while their teams work on resolving the problem.
"Thanks for your patience while we improve and restore normal FIFA Ultimate Team gameplay," the official EA announcement read.
Meanwhile, scammers have been taking advantage of the transfer issues to try to lure players to their non-affiliated FIFA 15 websites in order to glean personal and financial information from unsuspecting players.
Scammers have offered unbelievable deals on Twitter, like free Ultimate Team packs, while linking to fake registries where users are encouraged to enter in their EA Sports account information, according to Computer and Video Games.
Of course, you should never click on a suspicious link or ever give your personal information to unknown websites, no matter how amazing the promised deal is (or how frustrated you might be at the moment by getting stuck in FIFA 15's player transfer hub).
This all comes just days after FIFA 15 for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS4 received an update addressing a lot of the same issues that FIFA 15 for PC's patch addressed earlier. For more information on those patches and bug fixes, check out our previous article on the subject.
EA originally unleashed FIFA 15 on its release date of Sept. 23.
